Sting
1. As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?
- My main objective was to make my celebrity (Sting) appear natural but just take away the flaws in his problem areas.
2. What tools did we primarily use for this project?
- We used the brush tool, spot healing brush, burn/dodge tool, patch tool, and eraser tool.
3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
- Some challenges I faced were his skin. I had a hard time fixing his skin because there was a lot of discoloration in his forehead area, also because he has a beard and it was hard to not pain over it and make it look brighter.
4. Do you feel that there should be a warning placed on retouched images that are used for advertising? Why or why not?
- In my opinion i think there should be a label on retouched images used for advertising, not all younger women or men know photos are retouched. Some younger children are putting their lives at risk because they feel they are not perfect enough, looking at the retouched pictures. So yes i do think retouched pictures should be labeled.
